January 12, 2011 – I’ll Be Waiting

I see you as nothing short of the most surprising and unusual threat
Aside from everything said, you’ll be some kind of wonderful I bet

It’s the interest in mystery and the madness of it all that gets me
Even though I know the bulk of this train has yet to squarely hit me

Realistically, a life turned upside-down is the least of my worries
It’s your presence alone that has my tummy battling butterfly flurries

It helps that my stance at present leaves me a tad reassured
Not to mention, his warm embrace keeps my course from getting deterred
